Gaming fact: American schoolchildren avoid games with sexualized girls

A study by the University of California, Los Angeles found that 42.1% of girls and 36.8% of boys avoid games where women are portrayed in a derogatory or stereotypical manner.

The main reason cited is fear of judgment and pressure from other players.
