In a podcast, one of Rockstar's founders, Dan Houser, talked about ideas that the studio never brought to life.
The most interesting ones:
🔵 There was supposed to be a DLC for GTA V where Trevor became a secret agent. The project was canceled to focus on RDR2.
🔵 A full-fledged zombie spin-off was considered for GTA. The team liked the idea, but there wasn't enough time to implement it.
🔵 In early versions of RDR2, Arthur could have had a child who would die at the beginning of the story.
🔵 In GTA IV, Houser wanted Niko to be fatally wounded in the finale, but he realized that such an approach "would disrupt the balance of the game and the character's story."
