October Windows 11 update kills gaming performance — reports NVIDIA

The culprit is a mandatory security patch for Windows versions 25H2 (26200.6899) / 24H2 (26100.6899).

Besides reducing performance, the update can disable the mouse, keyboard, and other USB devices.

NVIDIA has already released a new driver that fixes the issue.
