The Sims 4 is getting a major remaster: insiders report new graphics and open locations

List of changes:
➖ The game will be ported to a new engine from the Project Rene project;
➖ Open neighborhoods will appear in the world without loading screens between locations;
➖ A large number of Sims can be in one location;
➖ At release, the remaster will include only two DLCs – "Seasons" and items from "Growing Together";
